The Musical Journey of "Armaan Malik" in Bollywood
Lot of people believe that celebrity kids have a easier way to get into industry. On the other hand new comers who are out of the industry have to work harder to taste success. Celebrity kids are already a known names as they get exposure to the industry and their relatives are a brand in themselves. The son of actor-musician Daboo Malik & nephew of music composer Anu Malik, Armaan Malik stood out of all.
He started singing at the age of four and after discovering his love for music, he was enrolled for Hindustani Classical singing lessons at the age of six by his parents. At the young age of 10, Armaan Malik participated in a Music singing reality show for Kids where he finished eighth. He started his professional career at the age of 13. Just like any other singer Armaan Malik has struggled a lot to get to where he is right now. As a child artist, he sang for Bhoothnath (2009) & Chillar party (2011). The singer dubbed for the character of an English boy in the Yash Raj
Film ‘My Name Is Khan'. He also lent his voice to the character of Salim
in the radio version of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ for BBC Radio 1. Armaan has sung in around 200 commercials and jingles so far!
The young singer strongly believes that no one should judge someone on the basis of which family they belong to and the surname associated with their names. He shares his experiences about completing 12 years as a playback singer in the industry. He adds still many people believe that everything was served to me on the platter instead of looking at his whole journey of becoming the playback singer in the industry & his struggles for the hard earned fame.

Belonging to a family where his father and uncle are well established names in the industry has its own advantages, but his parents never forced him to follow a career in music. He has seen the failures and struggle in the music industry closely. Armaan was pretty much attracted towards music.
